Learn More About Mary Lynne Murray
“When I was a little girl, our house was so small that we had to right size with each season. I got used to clearing things out regularly, starting with Mom’s purse. Organizing is second nature for me, and I enjoy it immensely.
I’m a college graduate, wife and mother. My previous career in a retirement community opened my eyes to the unique situation of seniors. I opened the doors of It’s About Time in 2000. After working with a variety of clients from all walks of life, I met Alice, and we began the journey together of right sizing, helping her live better at home, which included a condo, and later an assisted living apartment. Since then, I have devoted myself to an organizing practice that specializes in working with Seniors, Boomers and Heirs.”
Mary Lynne has written over fifty articles in her Contra Costa Times column, “Get Organized.” She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), and has earned the CPO-CD® (Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization) designation from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization.
As a Certified Professional Organizer-CD®, Mary Lynne has completed a rigorous course of study, peer review and continues her education through ICD and NAPO. She is guided by both the ICD and the NAPO Code of Ethics, and carries liability insurance.
A speedy reader and not-so-speedy hiker, Mary Lynne raised two children and lives with her husband and dog in Walnut Creek, California.
“You can be assured that I will prioritize your needs throughout the process of organizing or rightsizing your home. You will be treated with respect, dignity and integrity. I will be an advocate for you, and a resource for your family. I give practical support with the kindness and concern that I would give to my own mother. Wherever you call home, I’d like to help you live better.”
