One way that I grew my business was by writing about organizing. I had kids in elementary school, and wrote articles in their school newspaper to help parents get organized.

A mom I knew from soccer, Karen Hershenson, worked at the local paper, The Contra Costa Times. Karen gave me an introduction to the the Home and Garden editor, Julie Shippen. Julie was a supportive editor and published my column, “Get Organized” in The Times, 2002-2004.
