My process is simple, based upon years of experience. I am fortunate to have aligned myself as a PTAC (Paper Tiger Authorized Consultant) early in my business with Barbara Hemphill, a pioneer in the industry. Although I am no longer affiliated with Barbara’s program, I’ve adapted processes that Barbara generously shared  through her mentoring. Here are five steps that work for your organizing projects, from files to flower pots.

1. Vision – To accomplish anything, you must have a general idea of what you want to do. It’s okay if you are not crystal clear when you start. I will help you move forward and refine your focus along the way.

2. Eliminate excuses and obstacles – People try to get organized with the help of a friend or family member, only to feel judged and in a bigger mess than before. Moving forward is guaranteed when you have proper support for a professional organizer.

3. Commit the time – I help you get real about time. It’s more than you think. If you think it will be 10 hours, it’s probably 20. And it will go faster working together.

4. Select your tools – There are many, many options available to move from point A to point B. I will guide you through that maze and help you keep what you use, what you find beautiful or what makes you smile.

5. Maintain your bliss – What actions are needed to keep what you’ve accomplished going? How will this happen?
